PMS – PC machine control 19 “/ 3HE rack, computer, TFT and keyboard
HF subrack 19″ 3HE / 84TE with TFT display, front membrane keyboard,
modular industrial PC, FD / HD drives, power supply unit, operating system.
APPLICATION
The PMS can be used as an industrial machine computer with an operating and visualization system. It is used as a central controller, as a master or slave computer in a decentralized automation architecture and as a networkable communication system. The device is installed in a 19 “switch cabinet frame (with front mounting as shown) or on mounting plates (with rear mounting).
DESCRIPTION
The PMS consists of a standard 19 “/ 3U subrack, which is available in widths of 84/63/42/28 subunits in HF-resistant design. An FD drive, a 6.5 “VGA TFT display with protective screen, a front membrane keyboard with 30 keys and a matrix keyboard encoder, a socket for PS2 keyboard / mouse and various status LEDs are built into the aluminum front panel. All interfaces are brought out to the rear.
Internally, a CPCI or ISA / AT96 bus board with 3, 5, 7 or 10 slots and a single board PC are installed. The computing power of the fanless CPU can be selected between AMD Geode 266 MHz, VIA Eden 400 MHz and Intel Celeron 650 MHz. Actively cooled CPUs up to Pentium M 2GHz are also available. The main memory can be expanded up to 1GB, depending on the CPU, a bootable CompactFlash or a 2.5 “flash drive can be added. All common PC interfaces are on board; CDROM or USB stick can be connected externally. The power supply unit with filter and power switch can be selected in 24VDC or 90-240VAC.
OPTIONS
Other PC components can be integrated: PC card, modem, WLAN , Additional interfaces and digital / analog peripheral cards. All interfaces can be arranged in the front panel as well as on the rear. The system can be configured customer-specifically as required by [gt] 25 pieces / year.
